Punzel
A princess, bored in her tower, stops waiting for a prince. Punzel is our biggest world: a game on Steam, two comic series, three animated films and a ridiculously large map behind them.

A GameToon: half game, half comic.
A point-and-click adventure on Steam. Punzel makes friends with the creatures and monsters she meets, using gestures, reactions and faces instead of words.

Out in the world
Punzel went on tour: to the biggest book fair in the world, into Steam's showcase and onto the devcom floor.

A ridiculously large, ridiculously deep world.
SK°ALL is ruled by the Overlord, who keeps his castle strictly prince-free. His gobbos Mux and Gergor are dutiful, chaotic and have never let a prince through. Add crows with opinions, wise disembodied skulls and princes who keep trying. The worldbuilding started in 2014 and never really stopped.

31 comics and counting.
Two series on punzel.me, in English and German: the Boredom Diary, 16 entries of Punzel not having adventures, and the Crow Diary, 15 comics about CroCro. Plus the Overlord and his checklists.

Three short animated films.
Punzel also moves: three short animated films, drawn in the same scribbly style as the comics. They live on the @punzelworld YouTube channel, next to a stream of Punzel shorts.

Everyone is part of SK°ALL.
Everyone who worked on Punzel lives on in the world: as gobbos, wizards, crows and one owl called bitowl. The two winners of the 2023 Punzel Art Contest earned their own gobbos too, and they are in the credits next to the team. Want a gobbo of your own? Share your Punzel fan art on our Discord, the next contest is coming.

Team Idea, lead and art: Greta Hoffmann. Meta-author: Moritz Schaub. Programming: bitowl, Paul Mitzner, Waldemar Tomme, Raphael Martin. Sound: Knaddersound. And many more, all in the credits.
